How to become a Scaffolder

2) In an Apprenticeship you can train through an experienced Scaffolder within the industry, getting hands on experience for yourself. This will take 18 months to complete and you’ll do on-the-job training and spend time at a College or training provider.
You’ll usually need:
- Some GCSE’s including English and Maths, or equivalent.
3) If you’re wanting to jump into a new career, then joining a company who are the Scaffolding Experts could be a good option to become a scaffolder. Employers would look for a good general standard of education. GCSEs in maths, English, and design and technology could be useful, although not always essential.
