It’s hard to believe that it’s been 4 weeks since we’ve been dealing with the Coronavirus Pandemic and us here at scaffolding direct london inLondon have issued an update every day since the outbreak began.
Scaffolding Update
Following from the Easter Break, which offered the opportunity to re-group and look ahead, more scaffolding and construction sites are expected to stay open, implementing the new ways of working required for ‘social distancing’ in which we work and live now.
News is spreading across the industry reminding everyone that there will be a post-coronavirus world and it is in all our best interests to maintain the scaffolding supply chain.
More Challenges to come
With peak of the Virus still yet to come, despite drops in the UK. We are expecting more challenges this week and for the foreseeable future, these will include the latest Public Health England guidance on Social Distancing in the workplace. Additional information on the hierarchy of control measures to reduce the risk of transmission, and the need to monitor the procedures.
Ricki Grenfell of scaffolding direct London had this to say:
“Where it is not possible to follow the social distancing guidelines in full in relation to a particular activity, you should consider whether that activity needs to continue for the site to continue to operate, and, if so, take all the mitigating actions possible to reduce the risk of transmission.”
Our Business should continue to follow the most-up-to-date Government guidance and for the latest updates please follow scaffolding direct london on all social media accounts to keep up to date with everything.
If you have any scaffolding, construction or Driveways specific queries, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to help.
